3/16/2023 0 Comments Iphoto for mac 10.10.3![]() ![]() Effectively, to arrange your pictures, you either have to manually adjust the dates or use albums instead. If you happen to have pictures that don't have correct dates then Photos will forcibly separate pictures that could previously be merged into one event upon import. I think Apple was a bit too idealistic and not so much practical. To put it differently, events and moments have the same goals, but while events were merely suggestive, moments are strict. iPhoto did the same with events, but still allowed you to merge and separate events and add a name to them. Photos has this moments view instead, which uses the dates and location data of your pictures to arrange them in a meaningful way, at least that's the idea. From what I can see Windows 10 is shaping up into a pretty good OS and I think if Apple continue with this present madness of messing up OS X then MS will be getting my money again next time around. How is one supposed to run a slide show when the photos are in separate days? Had I wanted them listed as separate days/dates I wouldn't have given them a group name of Summer Holidays 2014. What Photos has managed to do is dispense with the title and put all the photos I had taken on that two week holiday into separate days. This is madness, example - I have given my holiday photos a group name e.g. Who thought that Photos was a step forward? I dislike just about everything about it. The reason for this is because I just don't like the direction OS X is being taken. I think when my current iMac is up for renewal it won't get replaced. I genuinely cannot see me continuing using a Mac for very much longer. ![]()
